ROBERT MARSH, CPA is a Partner at CJN&W CPAs. Mr. Marsh is a State of Florida Certified Public Accountant focusing on providing comprehensive tax preparation and planning, valuation, audit, assurance, financial advisory, and other consulting services to businesses and high net worth individuals. Robert has over 25 years' experience in public accounting. As an entrepreneur, Robert has experience in the franchise restaurant business, sports products business, and intellectual property development. His primary focus is providing opportunities and solutions to help clients achieve their goals by becoming the clients advocate. Robert takes a multidisciplinary approach to all client issues. He has earned a BBA. from Niagara University and a Master of Taxation and Master of Accountancy from Nova Southeastern University.
TONY De SANTIS, CPA is a Partner at CJN&W CPAs and Florida-licensed CPA with over 20 years of experience in tax, payroll, private utility accounting, change management, and digital technology. In addition to his accounting and tax background, Tony has developed a broad range of knowledge related to complex governmental and nonprofit accounting and reporting. To enhance his CPA background, Tony developed skills as a business system analyst, executive coach, and diversity trainer. Tony received a BBA and Master of Accountancy degrees from Stetson University. He has also worked on a theology and pastoral counseling degree with the Washington Theological Union.
JEFFREY JONES, CPA is a Managing Partner at CJN&W CPAs with over 35 years of experience in public accounting and tax preparation. He serves as a Registered Principal of Lion Street Financial at JK Jones Financial Network and holds a Series 7 securities license. Jeff works with a wide range of business in terms of size, entity, and complexity providing accounting, tax, and investment services. Jeff has his BBA from Stetson University and his MBA from the University of Dayton.
KURT FREDRICKS, Enrolled Agent joined the firm as a tax manager. He received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northeastern Illinois University and an MBA with accounting and healthcare concentrations from Benedictine University. Kurt also holds a master’s degree in taxation from Nova Southeastern University. Prior to joining the firm, Kurt has taught at several community colleges in Florida and enjoyed imparting his knowledge to college students considering a career in accounting. He enjoys assisting clients with their tax problems and working with the IRS for solutions. He enjoys furthering his education, reading, playing classical piano, and singing opera in his spare time.
BEN SIMMONS, CPA is a Partner who manages the private utility and payroll departments. He also works extensively with tax preparation and QuickBooks engagements. Ben is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. In his personal life, Ben enjoys his role as a parent and is a sports enthusiast.
JIM WILSON, CPA is a principal specializing in providing tax preparation and tax planning services for clients in a variety of industries including real estate, small businesses, and estates and trusts. He received a BS in accounting from the University of Florida.
BILL COCHRAN has accepted the position of Audit Manager specializing in audits of for-profit, non-profit, and various types of municipalities. He has over twenty years of experience in both the private and public sector. His experience includes working for large, medium, and small accounting firms, which has exposed him to many different businesses. Bill served as a volunteer firefighter in Plattekill, New York and served on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together, Dutchess County, New York. Bill and his family reside in Winston-Salem, NC.
DOMINIC MORGESE, CPA is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a major in Finance. He has over twenty years of experience in areas of accounting, audit, municipal finance and taxation. He also is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) conferred by American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and both a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) conferred by the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). Dominic is a past Secretary of the City of Ormond Beach Pension Board of Trustees and currently serves as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Launch Federal Credit Union. Born in Montreal, he is a longtime resident of East Volusia County and enjoys sports, coastal living and spending time with his family.
SHAWN HIGGINBOTHAM, CFP® has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. He has worked with everyone from active traders placing complex equity and options trades with a focus on risk management to Private Clients where he assisted high net worth clients develop detailed financial goals and constructed diversified investment portfolios to accomplish those goals. He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ and Professional Plan Consultant™ designations. Shawn is a multi-generation native Floridian living in Apopka, Florida with his wife C.J., who owns a marketing and creative services firm, and their dog Barracuda. Their son Zachary recently graduated from the University of Florida with his BS in Food and Resource Economics.
CAROL HOUGHTON is a Florida native and long-time resident of Clearwater, FL. She joined our team in February 1998 as a receptionist and was promoted to bookkeeper with responsibilities including preparing monthly financial statements for the firm and our clients, as well as quarterly and annual payroll tax returns. She also assists the tax department with preparing tax returns and the audit department with the preparation of financial statements. She graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from St. Petersburg Junior College and then graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations/Mass Communications at the University of South Florida. She likes to play the piano and sew.
PATRICK FARLEY, Staff Accountant, recently joined CJN&W as of July 2020. Patrick is a graduate of Stetson University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. He is an aspiring CPA from Marietta, Georgia. When he is not in the office, he enjoys trips to the beach, spending time with his dogs, Kona & Berlin, and camping in the North Georgia mountains.
JUDY GROGAN began working for CJN&W CPAs in September of 1989. Initially hired as secretary to the Utility Partner at the time, her role shortly expanded to include provide secretarial and administrative services for office’s the Tax Partners and the Audit Department Over the time Judy has been with the office, she has without hesitation provided support whenever needed. Some might say her most important role for the office is locating client files that are not where they should be; along with her sleuthing skills, Judy can be counted on to keep the office organized. She currently is the Administrative Assistant for the Clearwater Office and Secretary to the office’s Managing Principal and Tax Secretary. Originally from Louisiana, Judy moved to Florida in 1984. She enjoys the Florida sunshine. Judy has two daughters and a proud grandmother--three grandchildren (1 girl, 2 boys) and three great grandchildren (1 girl, 2 boys).
